Treasure Hunter Tour
This 2 1/2 hour tour allows children 7+ yrs to paddle their own kayak to their own deserted island in Southport Bay (younger children 5+yrs can paddle with an adult in a double kayak). Children reach the Island in about 30 minutes where we begin our Treasure Hunt. The kids get there own treasure map to take home and with our guidance work through challenges and explore the island until they find the Treasure! A tasty morning tea is shared with the group on the beach before paddling back to shore.
The tours are run as private bookings and operate with a minimum of 2 and maximum of 6. At least one adult must accompany the group, so a maximum of 5 kids and 1 Adult. Tours can be tailored to fit the groups preferences.
The Treasure Hunter Tour is available between the months of December and May. Our other tours are available for Children 10+yrs and operate between October and June.
When: Meet 9.30am
Where: Southport Boat Ramp.
What: Please wear warm comfortable clothing, bring sunhats or beanies appropriate for the weather (often both!). A water bottle and a camera/phone are optional, dry bags can be provided.
