Pedals & Petals - Discovering Wildflowers Bike Tour Kings Park

Tour overview
Come and join our award winning company (Silver, WA Tourism Best New Business 2021) on a guided bike tour during the Spring 2022 Kings Park Wildflower Festival.
This fun, upbeat and wonderfully engaging tour takes you into the beating heart of Perth’s iconic Kings Park where our passionate and experienced guides share some of the areas historical, cultural, geographical and horticultural secrets with you.
We will take you into Kings Park’s bushland areas and explore wildflower hotspots that few visitors and locals see. We ride along a specially chosen route that has been carefully curated to ensure we avoid major hills, keeping the route as flat and enjoyable as possible.
We travel along remote paths and difficult to reach areas of the Kings Park bushland where you will see everlastings, wild flower groves, tree lined avenues dedicated to our fallen soldiers and views of the city skyline, all from the comfort of your easy to ride touring bike.
Our small group guided tours and energetic narrative are all about actively connecting you with nature rather than strenuous exercise and so cater for a wide range of ages and skill levels.
We aim to leave you energised and with a strong sense of accomplishment.

Ride rating
Whilst the route has been carefully curated to minimise hills there is some uphill riding. We do stop regularly for breaks, discussions and photo opportunities. You should be prepared to exercise with some periods of increased heart rate. Feel free to dismount and walk your bike up a hill if you need to or want to.
As a reference this tour would be suitable for those who are active or ride a couple of times a month.

Duration & distance
We ride for approximately 7km over a 2 hour period which includes multiple stops for photos & discussions.
